    The season-opening day of Ranji Trophy, India's numero uno domestic red-ball tournament, has begun at various venues across the country on Friday (October 11). The first round consists of four matches in each of the four Elite groups — A, B, C and D. (Streaming and Guide | More Cricket News)

    The clashes in Group C are: Kerala vs Punjab, Haryana vs Bihar, Bengal vs Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh vs Karnataka. A number of current and former international cricketers are in action in Group C, including Mayank Agarwal, Siddarth Kaul, Mayank Markande and Rajat Patidar.

    Kerala Vs Punjab

    Punjab won the toss and chose to bat against Kerala at the St Xavier's College Ground in Thumba, Thiruvananthapuram.
