MANILA, Philippines — Some flights were canceled on Monday, November 11, due to the effects of Typhoon Nika (international name: Toraji), the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (Caap) announced.
Below is the list of flights that will not push through as of 8 a.m.:

Article continues after this advertisement“The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines and its respective airport personnel across affected areas are on standby alert while doing all the necessary precautionary measures in the surge of Typhoon Nika,” Caap said in an advisory.
Article continues after this advertisementAs of 8 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Nika further intensified as it approached the boundary of Isabela and Aurora.
The typhoon was last spotted over the coastal waters of Dilasag, Aurora. It carried maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour (kph) and gusts of up to 180 kph while moving west-northwestward at 15 kph.
