MANILA, Philippines — The cloud cluster being monitored outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) may develop into a low pressure area (LPA), the Philippine Atmosphericswerte gaming, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Saturday.
In its 4 p.m. weather forecast, weather specialist Ana Clauren-Jorda said that the possible formation of an LPA may affect a portion of Mindanao.
“Sa kasalukuyan, wala tayong minomonitor na low pressure area o bagyo na posibleng makaapekto sa ating bansa pero may minomonitor po tayo na cloud cluster sa labas ng ating area of responsibility,” said Clauren-Jorda.
