Charo Santos will be seen on “Batang Quiapo” again as she has returned to taping about a month after she took a break due to loss of voice.
The actress and ABS-CBN executive, who portrays the role of Tindeng in the TV series, gave an update on her health while showing herself on the set of the show, through her Instagram page on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Article continues after this advertisementPrior to this, Santos disclosed that she had to pause from taping after she temporarily lost her voice and was strictly instructed by her doctor not to talk.
“Isang umaga gumising na lang ako wala na akong boses. Tapos naisip ko, siguro dahil do’n sa back-to-back taping schedules ko ng ‘Batang Quiapo’ at my military training, bumagsak na ‘yung immune system ko,” she said, referring to the military training she underwent in October to be a Philippine Air Force (PAF) Reservist.
(I just woke up one morning without a voice. Then I thought, my immune system might have weakened due to my back-to-back taping for “Batang Quiapo” and my military training.)
